Description

This course focuses on the day-to-day "high-level" administration of an eRoom site, which is covered by two main roles: Site Administrator and Community Administrator.  Sometimes these are handled by the same individual(s), sometimes they are different.  It's not uncommon to have one or two Site Administrators and multiple Community Administrator depending on the size of deployment.  Both roles are covered in the course because of the connection between them.  Specific topics include:

  • An overview of eRoom, its architecture, and hardware requirements
  • Review and understanding of Site-level eRoom settings, including best practices and tips
  • Review and understanding of Community-level eRoom settings, including best practices and tips
  • Review and understanding of Facility-level eRoom settings, including best practices and tips
  • How to create and read Usage Reports
  • Member management, including directory connections and groups
  • Site Maintenance, including working with Microsoft Management Console
  • Site Support, including using the Documentum Support website
  • Creating, importing, removing, and archiving eRooms and facilities

By the end of this session, users will be ready to provide the daily administration of an eRoom site as well as first level support. To order this course for onsite delivery or for additional information please contact us.
